From challenging curriculum, extensive, exploratory options, as well as extracurricular clubs and sports, Harbor Lights Middle School is focused on serving as the bridge for our students as they leave elementary school and prepare for high school. A modified daily schedule for 6th grade along with separate 6th, 7th, and 8th grade academic wings provides for a smaller, more stable transition year for 6th grade students. Additionally, our advisory, or “Academy” period for all grades is set aside each day for students to focus on social, emotional, and other skill-building lessons to help them navigate middle school and prepare for their transition to high school.
