West Ottawa Public Schools is pleased to offer Schools of Choice for non-resident students who qualify. Academics
West Ottawa Public Schools’ curriculum is student-centered and standards based. Transportation
West Ottawa Public Schools’ Transportation Department transports over 5,000 eligible students to-and-from school and school-related activities each school day. This is accomplished with a dedicated team of 78 transportation professionals and a professionally maintained fleet of 61 buses that travel more than 4,000 miles each day. West Ottawa Public Schools spans through 73 square miles in Ottawa County. Our district has a population over 44,000 residents, supported by 12 schools. The western edge of our district borders the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. Holland, Michigan is located 30 minutes southwest of Grand Rapids, Michigan and 2.5 hours northeast of Chicago, Illinois.
