NOTICE OF AN ELECTRONIC PUBLIC HEARING

ON PROPOSED 2020-2021 BUDGET

 

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, June 22, 2020, at 6:30 p.m., the Board of Education of the West Ottawa Public School District will meet electronically, pursuant to Michigan Executive Order 2020-75, to hold a public hearing to consider the District’s proposed 2020-2021 budget.

Governor Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-75 in response to COVID-19 extends the requirement for public bodies to meet remotely through June 30, 2020.

The public may also join by calling 1-678-653-0954 and entering PIN: 170 323 727#.

The Board may not adopt its proposed 2020-2021 budget until after a public hearing.  A copy of the proposed 2020-2021 budget, including the proposed property tax millage rate, is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the District’s business office, 1138 136th Avenue, Holland, Michigan.

The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of the hearing.

This notice is given by order of the Board of Education.
