A child in GSRP Preschool will have experiences in initiative, social relations, creative representation, music, movement, language and literacy, and hands-on mathematics.
You may want to consider sending your child to GSRP for the 2026-27 school year if:
- Your child will turn 4 by December 1, 2026
- You are looking for a safe, nurturing and educational environment to help prepare your child for Kindergarten
West Ottawa’s GSRP Preschool offers full day and half day program options at select locations. Full day sessions includes breakfast, lunch, nap, snack and outdoor play. Preschool is Parent Transport. Enrollment documentation required.
- Great Lakes Elementary
- Full Day Programming: 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Lakeshore Elementary
- Full Day Programming: 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Half Day Programming: 8:30am – 11:30am and 12:30pm – 3:30pm
- Tuition-Based wrap-around care and Friday childcare available through the YMCA

Title I Information
Federal funds are distributed to school districts to assist students who are academically at risk to provide additional academic services for students to master grade level standards. West Ottawa’s Parent Meetings are a great opportunity for parents of Title 1 eligible students to ask questions about Title Funds, Title eligibility, support services provided to students, curriculum, instruction, or assessments.
