Welcome to our Alumni Spotlight “Then and Now” Series!
In their own words…
Some of my most memorable moments from high school were spent in the pool. Being on the swim team was challenging, rewarding, and a ton of fun. Giving a shout out to our incredible coach, Jens Milobinski, and all my friends and teammates on both the girls and guys teams. I’m both honored and proud to have been a part of such a special and talented group of swimmers and divers. GO WO!
After graduation, I made my way all the way over to Hope College where I swam and studied Communications and Spanish for 4 years. Josh Delo and I got married in 2008 – yes, we’ve been together since our days at Mac Bay middle school. We live on the northside of Holland and have two amazing and adorable boys, Lake (4) and Haze (2) and two dogs, Banjo and Goose. I’ve worked at the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce for nearly 8 years and absolutely love the work I get to do every day. We recently earned the title of National Chamber of the Year, which is an incredible honor. I always thought I would leave West Michigan, but now I could never imagine being anywhere else. Holland is home, and I feel grateful to be a part of such an awesome community with so many incredible friends and family members here. And yes, our boys are future panthers!
Go WO!
