The Business Office manages over $85 million in revenues and expenditures each year. This includes $39 million of payroll, $3.8 million of food service related expenses, $3 million in student transportation, and $1.4 million in utility expenses in addition to much more. Utility Usage Data
District staff and students are committed to reducing electricity, natural gas and water usage in order to be responsible citizens guarding our natural resources and reducing costs to taxpayers. The graphs below track utility usage across all school facilities beginning with the 2011-12 school year. During the 2015-16 school year, staff and students were successful in reducing gas usage by 115,800 CCF and reducing electricity usage by 356,700 kilowatt-hours. Water usage was up but the total utility savings in 2015-16 was still around $180,000 when compared to 2014-15.
