Mr. Spreitzer came to West Ottawa in the fall of 1995. He has been a high school counselor for ten years. He also served as the eighth grade assistant principal at Macatawa Bay for three years from 2002 through 2005.

Mr. Spreitzer graduated from Michigan State University in 1986 with a degree in Social Science/Secondary Education. He taught middle and high school for nine years before coming to West Ottawa. Mr. Spreitzer earned his counseling degree from Central Michigan University in 1993. He also earned a degree in educational leadership from Grand Valley State University in 2002.

Mr. Spreitzer also is the advisor for the high school ski club.
