  • We will serve the district with total commitment and a positive attitude.

Bus Safety Program

West Ottawa has a bus safety program. This is a bus that travels to all of the elementary buildings at the start of each school year to teach the proper way to load and unload the bus, proper behavior while on the bus, and the rules of the bus. The training is done with a full size bus, a video, and some practicing. At the end of each session each participant is given a coloring book to take home to show their parents what they have learned about bus safety.
