Challenging curriculum, extensive exploratory options, and extracurricular clubs and sports at Macatawa Bay Middle School provide a comprehensive experience for students. A modified daily schedule for 6th grade along with separate 6th grade hallways allow for a more stable transition year for new middle school students. Additionally, our advisory, or “Academy” period for all grades is set aside each day for students to focus on social, emotional, and other skill-building lessons to help them navigate middle school and prepare for their transition to high school. Teachers at Macatawa Bay Middle School focus on relationships to support students transitioning through their adolescent years.
